I am looking for an inexpensive personal camcorder for personal fun use. So in easy terms I guess you would say the TV can be used as a very large viewfinder instead of the standard 3' view finders on the camcorders now. My main use will be for guests at my home to be able to sit down in front of the camcorder while it is set up on a tri-pod and record blogs.

I use mine to run a monitor while recording. It is true that cheaper models will switch off this transmission while recording, the 750 does not.
